The following video was shown to 850 students at a school assembly of the Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington, Utah:
“I pledge my service to Barack Obama.”“I pledge to be a servant to our President.”
yeah hmm let me think a minute sorry hold on it is coming to me...… Oh yeah I thought public servants were supposed to serve the public, not the other way around!
Ashton Kutcher asks “what’s your pledge?”
I’ve got one of several: I pledge never to buy another movie ticket or rent of any film these people are in. I didn't want to continue to give them publicity by further posting it but you also need to be aware of what is going on!! I pledge to give Barack Obama as much assistance as I can to send him to the private sector. Oh but sadly he has never worked in the private sector and I doubt he’d last more than a week in a real business!! I pledge to continue to ask those in the video to give up all their monies, time and energy to make all they want happen. After all, they are rich so why not give it all up and help us all out.I pledge to continue to forward information out to the uninformed populace who don’t see what is happening right under their noses. And finally, I pledge to uphold the CONSTITUTION of our great land, and defend it from terrorists both foreign and domestic, that being our current president, house, senate and Hollywood elites.
A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling “radical, leftist propaganda.”
Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington were shown a short video called “I pledge” on Aug. 28. The video opens with an image of President Barack Obama and part of a speech in which he says, “Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other.” The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world — and that’s where some say the problem lies…
… Gayle Ruzicka, president of conservative Utah Eagle Forum, said the video was blatantly political. She said other offensive pledges included, “I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama,” “I pledge allegiance to the funk, to the united funk of funkadelica,” and pledges to not use plastic grocery bags and not flush the toilet after urinating.
“It’s very inappropriate to show a radical, leftist propaganda piece that political to children,” Ruzicka said. “If parents want their children to learn about those things and do them in the home, wonderful, fine, but it’s not the place of the school to show a one-sided propaganda piece to children without parents knowing about it.”
Cieslewicz said such values should be decided in the home, not at school.
Q: SO When was the last time school children were asked to pledge to a national leader?
Hint: It was in the first half of the 20th Century in Europe!Give up? Here’s a video reminder:
Hitler Youth Pledge: “I promise to do my duty in love and loyalty to the Führer and our flag.”
OK Now I think I need to take a shower I feel just disgusting...I am seriously disgusted to say the least. They won’t allow religion, Republicans, & the military in but Obama – NO Problem. Do you really think Obama is going to come out and be apalled something like this has been in our school system?? I don't think he will. If he does behind his ugly mask he will be doing his creepy smirk I am sure.
